Casey Harrison is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Wimberley Dyslexia & Learning Center owner in Wimberley, TX. She has over 24 years of teaching experience and is passionate about working with students, parents, and educators. She is also a Certified Structured Literacy Specialist through The Center for Effective Reading Instruction. Additionally, Casey is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist with Texas and holds a teaching license and a National LETRS Trainer.
Working to enrich the lives of children with dyslexia is at the heart of Casey's work. She believes in empowering students, parents, and educators with insights into dyslexia and related learning differences. Her work strives to create a dyslexic community based on understanding, knowledge, and support. She assists parents in navigating their journey with dyslexia, guides teachers, provides professional development to schools, and works with students as a private therapist both at her center and within independent schools.
Casey enjoys spending time with her husband, their three daughters, and the many animals on their little slice of Texas paradise when not working.

Katy Vassar is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Qualified Instructor. She received her Bachelor's from the University of Texas, majoring in Special Education, and her Master's in Special Education specializing in Dyslexia and Educational Diagnostician through Midwestern State University. She received her dyslexia therapist training at the Scottish Rite Dyslexia Center of Austin and became a Qualified Instructor. Katy has worked at the elementary and secondary levels as an educator and therapist for the last 17 years. She currently works privately with students providing dyslexia therapy, trains educators, and provides psychoeducational assessments. Katy is passionate about her work with children and is dedicated to supporting students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALT) are specially trained to work with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. They have completed an intensive training in multisensory structured language through a program that is accredited through International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and/or International Mult
Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALT) are specially trained to work with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. They have completed an intensive training in multisensory structured language through a program that is accredited through International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and/or International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council, IMSLEC. The therapist level standards require that a CALT complete a 220 course contact hours in an accredited program, complete a minimum of 700 clinical teaching hours, complete 10 demonstration lessons, and pass the Alliance National Registration exam for Multisensory Structured Language Education. In addition, to maintain one's license as a CALT, they must complete 10 hours of continuing education each year.
Anna has taught for 30 years in Michigan, Iowa, and Texas. She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist who is passionate about helping children find reading success. Anna has two daughters and is an active grandmother to four grandsons. She loves to travel by train and loves the mountains.

She has worked in education for the last decade and is passionate about helping struggling readers achieve success.
